Building on the success of the original Cheers for Charity on July 18–nearly $600 raised for Austin Pathways and Front Steps in just 3 hours–we will repeat that wonderful event on November 1 for two more charities. Makenna Hatter will join me as a volunteer bartender, and we are once again generously supported by our friends at Numero 28/Alimentari!
Date/time: Thursday, November 1, 5:30-8:30PM (but feel free stay later and enjoy dinner with old/new friends)
Location: Alimentari 28, in the back bar with the cool kids
Charities: for this event, 100% of tips (be generous, regardless of bartender skills!) plus 15% of the bar purchases (thank you, Marco and Bernardo!) will be sent to two Austin-based charities.
- Dell Children’s Medical Center, to support research and treatment of children’s illness and conditions, and
- Livestrong, to support perrsons with canceer and promote awareness and prevention.
