This is my main gig, and an awesome one. We are designing new and better solutions for high performance computing (HPC) and for AI/machine learning. The Austin Forum brings hundreds of people together every month to learn about different transformative technologies, and to form new ideas and collaborations across technology and applications domain. In 2020, the Austin Forum will cover health tech, tech startups, AI, clean energy, data & privacy, quantum computing, tech & art, and more! I am the founder and executive director.
The largest smart city consortium in the country, of which I’m the founder and currently serving as executive director after being the initial president of the board of directors. There are some BIG this coming in 2020… stay tuned.
Some of the projects above are executed through Vizias, a technology consulting company founded by Jay Boisseau and Allison Warner in 2014 with a focus on HPC, technology strategy, and technology outreach. In addition to working with Dell and managing the Austin Forum and Austin Smart City Alliance, other projects of Vizias including working with Data Vortex, an innovative HPC network company, and teaching AI workshops.
